PC Installation Guide

Step 1: Download the Client

  1. Choose any download link from the table above
  2. Wait for the download to complete (~5.9 GB)
  3. Make sure the file is fully downloaded before extracting

Step 2: Extract the Files

  1. Right-click on the downloaded .rar file
  2. Select "Extract Here" or "Extract to Trinity2025/"

Note: You need WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract .rar files.

  1. Open the extracted folder
  2. Double-click TrinityPatcher.exe

Android Installation Guide

Step 1: Enable Unknown Sources

Before installing, you need to allow installation from unknown sources:

For Android 8.0 and above:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Navigate to Apps or Apps & notifications
  3. Tap Special app access (or Advanced)
  4. Select Install unknown apps
  5. Find your browser (Chrome/Firefox) and enable "Allow from this source"

For Android 7.0 and below:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Navigate to Security
  3. Enable Unknown sources
  4. Confirm by tapping OK

Step 2: Download the APK

  1. Open your browser on your Android device
  2. Go to: https://ti-server.com/Trinity2025_v546v3.apk
  3. Tap Download
  4. Wait for the download to complete

Step 3: Install the APK

  1. Open your Downloads folder or notification
  2. Tap on the Trinity2025_v546v3.apk file
  3. Tap Install
  4. Wait for installation to complete
  5. Tap Open or find the app in your app drawer

Step 4: First Launch

  1. Open Trinity RO app
  2. Grant permissions if prompted (storage access)
  3. Wait for any additional data download
  4. Login and play!

Windows Defender / Antivirus Guide

Important: Ragnarok Online game clients are often detected as "virus" by antivirus software. This is a FALSE POSITIVE - the game is completely safe to play!

Why Does Antivirus Detect the Game as Virus?

Reason Explanation
Packer/Protector Game executable uses protection software
Memory Access Game needs memory access for anti-cheat
Network Activity Game connects to server (flagged as suspicious)
Unknown Software Antivirus doesn't recognize this software

This is NOT a virus - antivirus simply cannot verify this software.

Quick Fix: Run Exclusion Tool

We provide an automatic exclusion tool in the game folder:

1. Open the game folder
2. Run "Add_Exclusion.bat" or "Add_Exclusion.exe" as Administrator
3. Click "Yes" when prompted
4. Done! The game folder is now excluded

If the automatic tool doesn't work, follow the manual guide below.

Manual Guide: Windows Defender Exclusion

Step 1: Open Windows Security

For Windows 11: 

1. Press Windows Key + I (opens Settings)
2. Click "Privacy & Security" on the left menu
3. Click "Windows Security"
4. Click "Virus & threat protection"

For Windows 10: 

1. Press Windows Key + I (opens Settings)
2. Click "Update & Security"
3. Click "Windows Security" on the left menu
4. Click "Virus & threat protection"

Step 2: Open Exclusion Settings 

1. Scroll down to "Virus & threat protection settings"
2. Click "Manage settings"
3. Scroll down to find "Exclusions"
4. Click "Add or remove exclusions"
5. Click "Yes" if UAC prompt appears

Step 3: Add Game Folder 

1. Click "+ Add an exclusion"
2. Select "Folder"
3. Navigate to your game folder (e.g., C:\Games\Trinity2025)
4. Click "Select Folder"
5. Done! The folder is now excluded

Method 2: Exclude Specific Files

If you prefer not to exclude the entire folder:

1. Follow Step 1 & 2 above
2. Click "+ Add an exclusion"
3. Select "File"
4. Navigate and select these files one by one:
   - Trinity.exe
   - TrinityPatcher.exe
   - dinput.dll (if exists)
   - cps.dll (if exists)
5. Click "Open" for each file

Method 3: Restore Deleted Files

If Windows Defender already deleted your game files:

Step 1: Open Protection History 

1. Open Windows Security
2. Click "Virus & threat protection"
3. Click "Protection history"

Step 2: Find and Restore Files 

1. Look for entries related to Trinity.exe or game files
2. Click on the entry
3. Click "Actions" dropdown
4. Select "Restore"
5. If prompted, select "Allow on device"

Step 3: Add to Exclusion Immediately 

1. After restoring, IMMEDIATELY add the folder to exclusions
2. Follow Method 1 above
3. This prevents Windows from deleting the files again

Temporary: Disable Real-Time Protection

Warning: Only disable temporarily for installation. Re-enable after install!

1. Open Windows Security
2. Click "Virus & threat protection"
3. Click "Manage settings"
4. Toggle OFF "Real-time protection"
5. Click "Yes" on UAC prompt
6. Extract and install the game
7. IMPORTANT: Toggle ON "Real-time protection" again
8. Add game folder to exclusion list

Other Antivirus Software

Avast / AVG

1. Open Avast/AVG
2. Click Menu → Settings
3. Click General → Exceptions
4. Click "Add Exception"
5. Click "Browse" and select game folder
6. Click "Add Exception"

Kaspersky

1. Open Kaspersky
2. Click Settings (gear icon)
3. Click "Additional" → "Threats and Exclusions"
4. Click "Manage exclusions"
5. Click "Add"
